Habersham Featured In Cultivate.com Story on Galley Kitchens

by Matt Eddy, CEO February 5th, 2013

Blog posts week of Feb 4Special thanks to the editors of Cultivate.com for featuring our galley kitchen design in one of their trend articles.  In the story by Kelly Thomas, the Cultivate team used our galley kitchen image as the lead in to the story “Nine Big Ideas for Galley Kitchens”.

Illustrated with our American Treasures galley kitchen, shown here, the story intro starts like this:american treasures galleykitchen Habersham Featured In Cultivate.com Story on Galley Kitchens © 2009 Habersham Home

“In a world where bigger often seems to be better, it’s important to recognize that this isn’t always the case when it comes to kitchens. While many homeowners pass up the simple two-wall galley design in  favor of a more sprawling layout, a galley kitchen employs a smart use of space by putting the sink, fridge, and stove within easy reach. Fans of this style appreciate the ease of use and swear by its ability to be both fashionable and efficient. Though the sometimes-narrow width of a galley kitchen can feel crowded, clever planning remedies the challenges of limited storage and space.”
