This decidedly modern design can lend a touch of casual, contemporary elegance to any décor. Building upon the success of the Moderne designs launched during Spring 2012 market, this new piece reflects the same geometric design. The term “Moderne” is an architectural term. Sometimes referred to as “Style Moderne” or simply “modern”, it was a style of architecture that became popular in 1925 and by the 1960s, was called “Art Deco.” Available in countless finish options, this design is shown in Warm Silver.
Featuring an inviting, asymmetrical filigree design on its front, this lovely design exudes a graceful, classic flow. Available in countless hand-styled finish options, it also includes a built-in infrared control devise. Shown in Warm Silver. This is just one of many new designs we unveiled during the recent Fall 2012 High Point Market. Visit the Market News section of our website to see them all!
Offering a wonderful showpiece for china, crystal and other treasured accents, this elegant breakfront features an arched top with a glass front and curved wooden design elements that add drama and elegance. Clean lines and a hand-styled finish complete the look.

The newest addition to Habersham’s licensed Biltmore ® Chateau Reserve Collection, this twin bed design was inspired by the Sheraton Room at Biltmore House in Asheville, NC. The Cloister Bed is neoclassical in style and shares a headboard and canopy, creating a large-scale image of grandeur. The wood is indicative of early 19th century architectural cloisters, in which covered walks in monasteries, colleges and cathedrals had one walled side and one open colonnade. The piece is named for Cornelia Vanderbilt, only child of Biltmore’s visionary creator George Vanderbilt and his wife Edith. Cornelia grew up at Biltmore and was truly, as the estate’s website describes, a “princess of a 250-room castle and its 8000-acre kingdom.”
For December we’ve chosen to highlight one of our newest designs, the Biltmore ® Louis XV Armoire. Making its debut during the October 2011 High Point Market, this stately piece now joins others in our licensed Biltmore® Chateau Reserve Collection of copyrighted furniture designs. With each piece, our design team has worked to reflect the hospitality and gracious living that defined the acclaimed Asheville, NC estate at the turn of the century.
This particular copyrighted furniture design takes its inspiration from the many pieces and architectural elements found throughout the estate’s lovely Louis XV Suite. Restored to its original splendor, this suite offers visitors the first opportunity to fully see the house as a family home and the Vanderbilts as parents. The Louis XV Room itself is perhaps the true heart of Biltmore. It served as birthplace of George and Edith Vanderbilt’s only daughter, Cornelia, in 1900. Years later, it was where Cornelia delivered her own two sons, George Henry Vanderbilt Cecil and William Amherst Vanderbilt Cecil in 1925 and 1928, respectively.
