Formally launched during the October 2010 High Point Market, American Treasures® pieces take their inspiration from classic styles that have been updated and simplified. Adding to their appeal, American Treasures® pieces are customizable.  Working out of the company’s North Georgia design studio, our artisans and craftsmen can shape each piece to meet your depth, width and height specifications.  In addition, customers can choose from the  wide spectrum of textures and tones found within  our own family of hand-styled signature finishes –  each offering distinctive looks  created by trained artists using a series of techniques, tools and exacting standards.

We’re putting the finishing touches on many of the introductions we have planned for Spring High Point Market.  One we’re especially excited about is the new Sheraton Twin Bed, which is joining our Biltmore ® Chateau Reserve Collection.

I’ll post a final photograph when the design is completed, but this rendering gives you a sneak preview.    Like all the designs in our Biltmore Collection, this one takes its inspiration from the renowned hospitality, architectural influences and styles that have defined the landmark Asheville, NC estate throughout its history.   Specifically, this design was inspired by one of Biltmore’s grand guest bedrooms – the Sheraton Room.

It is a neoclassical design in the style of Thomas Sheraton, one of the foremost English furniture designers at the turn of the 19^th century.   When completed,  it will be shown in our Antique Honey finish with gold accents.  As with all designs in our line, it may be ordered in any of our 39 custom finishes or your choice of tones designed to match any of those from the vast Benjamin Moore/Sherwin Williams color palettes.   As you can see from the sketch,  the twin beds share a headboard and canopy.  In addition, there is a walk through on the baseboard.
