Habersham, Biltmore ® Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary

March 4th, 2014

Biltmore Valencia TableThe Spring High Point Market,  April 5-10, 2014, marks the 10th year of our licensing partnership with Biltmore®. To celebrate the occasion, we will co-host a Wine & Cheesecake Celebration (Saturday, April 5 from 4-6 pm), feature a Biltmore Gift Basket Giveaway, and unveil a number of new anniversary furniture designs in our Market Square Showroom – 191.  We invite all market attendees to join us!

The milestone also sets the stage for the next phase of growth for our licensing partnership – the introduction of a new Custom Fitted Furniture Collection. Set to debut during the Fall 2014 High Point Market, the new collection will encompass bespoke furniture for the entire home, including dressing room, wine cellar, library, kitchen, bath and other room designs.

For the past 10 years our Biltmore® Chateau Reserve Collection has drawn its inspiration from the entertainment and hospitality that defined the landmark Asheville, NC estate at the turn of the century.  Our collection’s grand scale designs and accent furniture pieces reflect the art, architecture, hospitality and ambiance that George W. Vanderbilt cultivated for his estate.

From the beginning, our vision at Habersham has been to create furniture in keeping with Vanderbilt’s vision – versatile, high quality designs that invite homeowners to truly express their own sense of style. The pieces have been consistent bestsellers over the years and we look forward to taking the partnership to the next level with our custom furniture capabilities.

Charles Rinek Homes Project Featuring HabershamCharles Rinek has been making dreams come true since 1987.

Taking a “concierge approach” to home building, he, along with wife Jeanne and the rest of the talented team of design professionals from Charles Rinek Construction, Inc., have brought countless dream homes to life for delighted clients in prestigious communities throughout Florida’s Flagler County.

“It’s a discovery process we go through together,” Charles explains.  “Our clients tell us what want, and we work closely with them – from start to finish – interpreting their dreams and creating exactly what they’ve been hoping for.”

To help make these dreams come true, Rinek often turns to Habersham.  “We’ve worked with a number of high-end cabinetry companies but when we discovered Habersham at the High Point Furniture Market, we knew we’d found something special.”Charles Rinek Construction | Habersham

Take, for example, a recent custom project (kitchen shots shown here), Charles and Jeanne were  working on for a couple in Ormond Beach, FL.   “They were at a transitional point in their lives so we wanted to create a design that reflected this period,” Charles explains.  “So we met with them, gathered information about where they had come from and where they were heading.  We took  their past, present and looked to the future to create a design that met the ideal of their aesthetic and they loved it.”

“They are very well traveled and wanted to be reminded of their travels when they came home,” added Jeanne, a design professional who works closely with clients on their home interiors. “They love Asian art and have all sorts of Asian pieces.  But they love Habersham too.  So we are able to blend transitional Habersham cabinetry, contemporary lighting, textures and tones to create a rich look.  It shows there aren’t really any rules in home design except you need to love where you live.”Charles Rinek Construction | Habersham

“With Habersham, everything is included in the front end,” Charles says, discussing its higher end price point.  “ Oftentimes, when working with other cabinetry companies, when you start adding features and doing additional custom work to try to get close to what Habersham provides,  the final product ends up costing more.  With Habersham, you always end up with a better value and, most important, an artful product.”

Habersham Custom Kitchen Cabinetry

Charles Rinek has been making dreams come true since 1987.

Taking a “concierge approach” to home building, he, along with wife Jeanne, and the rest of the talented team of design professionals from Charles Rinek Construction, Inc., have brought countless dream homes to life for delighted clients in prestigious communities throughout Florida’s Flagler County.

“It’s a discovery process we go through together,” Charles explains.  “Our clients tell us what they want, and we work closely with them – from start to finish – interpreting their dreams and creating exactly what they’ve been hoping for.”

Charles and Jeanne called upon this same collaborative approach when it came time to build their own dream home in an established neighborhood nestled within Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park.   “We built this home around our own aesthetic,” said Charles, explaining how he and Jeanne work  together —  he designs the home from scratch and Jeanne focuses on the interiors.  “We opted for a plantation, Georgian style in keeping with the essence of the neighborhood.”

For the cabinetry, the couple chose Habersham.  “We’ve worked with a number of high-end cabinetry companies and wanted something different — something unique for the area,” he says.  “We found Habersham at the High Point Furniture Market and quickly saw that it offered an old world feeling with contemporary features.”
